TPLO Saw
Precise and powerful instruments are required by veterinary orthopedics. Such are the veterinary TPLO saw, which is supposed to provide an optimal solution for cutting Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy procedures in small animals.
Formed of tough metallic materials, the TPLO saw ensures fine intraoperative safety with the strength requisite for neat bone cuts. Special cutting edges reduce contact pressure with least possible cutting dirtiness and lower the risk of postoperative osteonecrosis because of heat produced during cutting.
Its operating voltage is 12V, and the noise level is ≤75dB which means the saw is not only powerful but quiet creating a calmer surgical environment. The TPLO saw provides the flexibility of speed from 0-16000 oscillations/min, therefore, easy fine-tuning as and when the requirements of the specific procedure.
The handpiece is pencil-styled and ergonomic in design to be handled easily, causing low vibrations, thus comfortable for the surgeon when using it for long consecutive operations. TPLO Saw can be sterilized up to 135°C; hence, it proves hygienic to use while operating.
The TPLO saw is a triangular interface sawhead design that accepts standard and commonly available oscillating blade sizes. Offered in assorted sizes, such as 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 20mm, 21mm, 24mm, 27mm, 30mm and 33mm, this saw can be personalized to each practitioner’s preferences.
The TPLO saw is delivered at a standard configuration of one saw handpiece, one charger, two batteries, and a case made of aluminum to facilitate easy transport and storage. Aseptic battery transfer rings and sterile transfer shields are further added as extra accessories for a successful, uninterrupted surgery.
